Filmily partners with Record Store Day to engage fans with UGC Record Covers.

Fans can show support for their independent local record shops all over the UK.

Devon, UK - Filmily, the fan engagement company that uses User-Generated Content (UGC) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to create personalised content, has teamed up with Record Store Day UK to offer fans the opportunity to create their own record covers. The initiative will see flyposters displayed in major cities across the UK, as well as in over 300 independent record shops nationwide, featuring QR codes that fans can scan to access the experience.

The partnership marks a significant milestone for both Filmily and Record Store Day, with fans of all ages being able to engage with the event in a new and exciting way. Andy Doyle, founder of Filmily, said:

"We are thrilled to be working with the team at Record Store Day. This initiative underscores the power of Filmily's ability to engage fans, even when events are spread throughout the UK, and not just confined to a single venue."

Record Store Day has been celebrating independent record shops worldwide since its inception in 2007. The event takes place annually in April, with this year's event scheduled for the 22nd of April 2023. Megan Page, Head of PR, Marketing and Promotions at the Digital Entertainment and Retail Association, said:

"This is the first time that we have collaborated with Filmily on a project of this kind.
We believe that fans of all ages will be thrilled to create their own record cover and engage with the event in a new way."

Through this collaboration, Filmily and Record Store Day aim to further the reach and impact of Record Store Day, while providing fans with an opportunity to express their creativity and celebrate their local shops in the run up to the day.

Filmily's unique and patented technology collects data from fan interactions, providing insights into their preferences and behaviour. The company works with sports clubs, music festivals, and other organisations to create fan loyalty and drive engagement. By leveraging UGC and AI, Filmily delivers personalised experiences that resonate with fans, fostering long-term relationships between them and the brands they love.

Filmily automatically generates a dynamic web-based app for user experience, ensuring that fans can easily create their own record covers from their smartphones or other mobile devices. The app offers a seamless and intuitive interface, allowing fans to choose their local record shop to be part of their own unique record cover.
